April Meeting
Beverly Democratic City Committee
Meeting Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 7 PM
Our April meeting will be in-person and also via Zoom. Chairman Keith Sonia is still working on getting a guest speaker, so hopefully there will be another update on a potential guest. The meeting will be at Beverly High School and via Zoom; Keith will be Zooming, as he has a flight that night.
Items on the agenda are: Minutes from January meeting; Financial Report as of March 2023, Old Business, State Committee Report, New Business, etc. Minutes and Financial Report are attached. (Thanks to Judy Ashkenaz and Tom Jefferson.)

Information on meeting location at BHS from Tom Jefferson:
- The BHS library is on the second floor, immediately up the stairs from the main entrance which faces Sohier Road. There should be more than enough parking in the spaces immediately in front of the building and no need to go to the large, main parking lot.
- There is an elevator available for anyone who may require it.

Due to the fact that our speaker is unable to make our meeting tomorrow night (3/14), and because of the bad weather forecasted, we are canceling the meeting we had scheduled. March Meeting
Hi Everyone,
The Zoom meeting that we had on February 27th wasn’t well attended, so we decided to postpone it until March 14 at 7 PM, back to our normal meeting date, the second Tuesday of the month. Our Treasurer Tom Jefferson has arranged for us to have future in-person meetings at Beverly High School (Thank you, Tom!) Members and guests are invited to join this meeting in person at the Beverly High School library or via Zoom. See information below.

I’m excited about our speaker: North Shore NAACP President Kenann McKenzie-DeFranza. She’ll catch us up on the work of the branch and how our members can best contribute to their goals.
