Caucus on June 6, 2015
Registered Democrats in Beverly will hold a caucus at the Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex Street, Beverly, starting at 10 AM on Saturday, June 6, to elect four delegates and four alternates for Wards 1,3,4,5 and 6, and five delegates and four alternates for Ward 2. Sign-in will begin at 9:45 AM. Participants in the caucus must be registered Democrats as of January 31, 2015. Those who registered late last year or in January are advised to bring a registration receipt. It is possible to be elected as a delegate without attending the caucus, but preference will be given to individuals at the caucus who want to become delegates. It is requested that anyone who wishes to be a delegate notify their Ward Chair, listed at www.massdems.org. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women and ballots will be written and secret. Youth, Minorities and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be add-on delegates. The Beverly Public Library is handicapped accessible.
