Help Identify Issues That Area Democrats and Others Can Act On

ALL Are Welcome Saturday February 7, 2009 at the Beverly Public Library in the Sohier Room

Following the Caucus for the State Convention being held by the Beverly Democratic City Committee, a meeting will be held at approximately 11:15 AM to answer the President’s call for action and identify issues to act on. Everyone is welcome to participate in the Idea Factory - see the details below.

The Idea Factory is an opportunity to get together, brainstorm ideas, etc. to achieve three goals:

1. Identify and prioritize issues to act on
2. Set up forums to discuss issues in conjunction with the Beverly Democratic City Committee (for example, during committee meetings and/or on a bevdems.org blog)
3. Establish a special events committee to bring in speakers and organize parties.

The first goal is self-explanatory but keeping enthusiasm following our President’s election, we will leave the Idea Factory Program with coherent, actionable ideas that can be worked on and implemented. The second goal, discussion forums, will have issues identified at the Idea Factory and the third goal, special events/speakers, will be planned at the Idea Factory Day.
