Welcome, Keith Sonia, New Chair
We would like to announce that we have a new City Chair, effective April 12, 2022. His name is Keith Sonia, and he has quite a lot of experience in political campaigns.
Keith served as Eileen Duff’s first Campaign Manager in 2012, before working to re-elect then-Governor of New Hampshire, Maggie Hassan. He has worked for Congresswoman Annie Kuster, former Congressman Joe Kennedy, and the New Hampshire Democratic Party. He graduated from UMASS Boston in 2011, King’s College, London in 2014, and has passed his oral doctoral defense at Goldsmiths, University of London. He grew up in Lynn and now happily lives on Broadway in Beverly.

Much Gratitude To Our Former Chair
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Jim Thompson, who did a great job at the helm of the BDCC for the last four years. He was always willing to listen to our opinions, made wise decisions, had a good sense of humor and was very pleasant to work with. We’re very glad he’s staying on as a valuable member of the Committee!
